With the great line of industrial polymer repair and
refurbishment systems that we carry, we also provide a
variety of services which includes the following:
Repair of Corroded, Eroded, Cavitated Equipment such as:
A major power plant called for our services to
repair a severely damanged cap which was completely
eroded, pitted and gouged. The sectional steel
was badly corroded as well. E.M.P. Inc. began
the refurbishment of two of these parts by sand
blasting the area to near white finish. Areas
were then filled with E.M.P. SuperGrade Metal. (Step
1). The damaged sections were built up
higher than normal with our polymers and then sanded
down to a perfect level. Step 2 shows
the area was coated with E.M.P No Wear 100 in Red
followed by another application of E.M.P No-Wear 100
in Blue(Step 3) . The parts were in
service within 24 hours.
Shaft Repair
E.M.P. Super Grade Metal/Superex was used here
to repair this shaft. The this shaft was
scored down to a 1/4" and filled with our E.M.P.
Superex and allowed to cure for 24 hours.
Epoxy Tank Linings & Systems
This Oily Water Separator was completely
refurbished with E.M.P. Tank Lining Epoxy Systems.
It was sandblasted to a white metal SSP finish and
our 2-Step Tank Lining Epoxy Systems was applied.
Corrosion Resistant Pipe Coatings
Abrasive media passing through this
section of an elbow corroded the surface multiple
times. The decision was made to install a new
part but preventative measures were taken. The
new part was sandblasted to near white metal finish,
areas filled with E.M.P. Superex Titanium and
coating with E.M.P. Cerapoxy ( 2 coats).
Bolt Thread Repair
